Spartanburg United Soccer Academy is happy to offer our Futures Program for 8U players.  For the upcoming 2024/25 season that would be boys and girls born 2017 & 2018.  The program is led by Futures Director Jack Underwood and 2-3 assistants following our age specific created curriculum.

SUSA Futures will consist of two 75-90 minute training session per week and games on weekends.   Training may be in a large group coed setting led by the coaches in stations.  Players will be split into smaller groups to allow more individual focus from the coaches and allow the entire age group to be developing and learning the same topics together.

The focus will be on individual player development of their foot-skills and an understanding of basic decision-making during competition. Players will have the maximum touches on the ball possible in this small sided environment. Youth players cannot develop without touching the ball constantly.

Games will be a mixture of small-sided matches of 5v5 and 7v7 in Spartanburg and Greenville.  Teams will participate in 1 tournament in the fall and 1 in the spring.

Spartanburg United is dedicating some of our best resources to our youngest players to set the foundation for their future at the Club.  The future is even brighter!

SUSA Futures Club Fee: $750 for players in the U8 player pools  
              +  $150 initial acceptance within 72 hours of acceptance instructions
              +  $600 balance payable in full or 8 installments of $70 each
      +  Fee includes 1 tournament in Fall and 1 tournament in Spring.
